Lined Zipper Pouch Sewing Kit – Take & Make

Give your everyday essentials a handmade home. Sew a simple, flat, lined zipper pouch with a finished size of approximately 10″ wide × 7½″ tall—handy for pencils, sewing notions, or the little things that get lost in a larger bag. This project follows the pattern Melanie uses in her sewing lessons.

Build on basic machine-sewing skills while practicing zipper installation, lining, and a neat finish.

What's included

• Two fat quarters of fabric for the outside and lining
• One 9-inch zipper
• Lightweight interfacing
• Printed project instructions with cutting directions

Fabric is supplied as two fat quarters, not precut pouch pieces. Use the included cutting directions to prepare your pieces.

Thread is not included. All-purpose sewing thread is recommended.

Tools to have ready

Sewing machine, fabric scissors, pins or clips, measuring tool, fabric-marking tool, and an iron with a pressing surface. A zipper foot compatible with your sewing machine.

This is a project kit, not a finished item.
